FA Youth Cup R3 fixture details announced

23 November 2018

Norwich City Under-18s will begin their quest in the 2018-19 FA Youth Cup with a third round trip to Port Vale on Wednesday, December 12 (7pm kick-off).

City are entering the tournament at the third round stage, with their opponents having beaten Kidderminster Harriers and Sutton Coldfield Town to progress to this point.

Last year, the Canaries reached the quarter-finals in what was hugely entertaining campaign. They beat Barnsley 4-1 in Round Three and followed that up with a 4-2 (AET) victory over Derby County.

In round five, City once again needed an extra-time but fought valiantly to beat Newcastle United 4-3 before they were knocked out at the quarter-final stage after a 3-1 defeat to Birmingham City.

The class of 2018-19 will be aiming to emulate Neil Adams' squad from 2012-13 who won the trophy after an aggregate victory over Chelsea in the final.

Tickets for the game are £3 and can be purchased on the night at Vale Park. If you cannot make the game, we'll have live updates running on our Twitter account and at canaries.co.uk.
