Jamal Lewis played the full 90 minutes as Northern Ireland took on the Republic of Ireland in a well-contested international friendly.
It was Lewis’ fifth full game for Northern Ireland in a row, with City goalkeeper Michael McGovern named on the bench.
Michael O’Neil’s side were unable to take their chances at the Aviva Stadium, with the score ending 0-0.
Timm Klose was an unused substitute for Switzerland’s international friendly against Qatar. Klose’s side lost 1-0 at the Cornaredo Stadium, with Akram Afif scoring with four minutes to go.
Teemu Pukki started for Finland in their 1-0 defeat against Greece in the UEFA Nations League, with Albin Granlund scoring an own goal.
The City striker was substituted off in the 93rd minute, however despite the loss Finland remain top of their group, three points ahead of Greece in second place.
Icelandic pair Atli Barkarson and Isak Thorvaldsson both featured for the full 90 minutes for Iceland as the Under-19s side played Turkey’s Under-19s.
This was Iceland’s first game in the UEFA Euro U19 Championship Qualifying rounds and they face a tough test next time out as they come up against Max Aarons’ England Under-19s side.
Aarons was an unused substitute for England Under-19s as they beat Moldova Under-19s 4-0 at the Arslan Zeki Demirci Sports Complex.
