Carrow Road on a Thursday night – nearly as glamorous as Las Vegas, but not quite as warm.
With professional croupiers and genuine chips, come and try your hand at blackjack and roulette in a strictly-for-fun casino night on December 6.
The event is the latest brought to you by the Norwich City Fans Social Club, a group of volunteers organising fun events for fellow City followers.
You don’t have to be a seasoned poker face to play – you’ll be guided through the basic rules by the professionals running the tables. After paying your usual £3 entry fee, you can spend a maximum of £20 during the night to exchange for make-believe money to gamble with.
Unlike in a real casino, you won’t be returning home with a fistful of dollars, but there are great prizes for the three guests who end up with the biggest piles of pretend cash at the end of the night.
If Lady Luck fails to smile on you at the tables, there’s still the opportunity to go home with a Brucie Bonus on the “Play Your Cards Right” game and a traditional raffle with proceeds to our friends at the Community Sports Foundation. Or just come and watch everyone else while enjoying a drink from the bar.
Doors open at 7pm, games begin running at 7.30pm. Everyone’s welcome, but for this event it’s over-18s only. The dress code is anything goes; so feel free to recreate the full-on Monte Carlo tux and tie look – or something slightly more relaxed.
Just turn up on the night in the Top of the City function room (entrance is in the main reception of the South Stand) - no need to book.
