Norwich City Under-12s took part in the Premier League Christmas Truce Tournament earlier this month to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War One.
The Truce Tournament took place at the Army’s Military Stadium in Aldershot on Sunday, November 11.
On the Sunday, before the tournament got underway a service took place at the Stadium. Players from each team read the names of footballers who represented their Club and who sadly lost their lives in conflict, before wreathes were placed around the perimeter of the pitch.
Arsenal, Manchester United, Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur were among the teams who were involved in the Christmas Truce Tournament Qualifiers.
The tournament allowed the young academy players to experience an educational and cultural weekend that enhances the history lessons they have been receiving on the sacrifices made by those who fought during the First World War
