17 October 2018

Everyone at Norwich City was saddened to hear of the recent death of former Canary Charlie Crickmore, who made 64 appearances and scored ten goals for the Club between January 1968 and November 1969.

Charlie was a speedy left winger who also played for Hull City, Bournemouth, Gillingham, Rotherham and Notts County before retiring in 1972 after he suffered a broken leg.

He later went on to play Rugby League for West Hull and worked for the fire service for 23 years.

Our thoughts are with Charlie’s family and friends at this sad time.
