Norwich City can confirm that Diallang Jaiyesimi will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) whilst on loan at Yeovil Town.
Jaiyesimi, 20, joined the Sky Bet League Two side in the summer and impressed during the early stages of the season at Huish Park, scoring twice in 11 appearances.
However, the winger was stretchered off the field after 23 minutes of the Glovers' game with Milton Keynes Dons on September 25.
Jaiyesimi is set to have surgery on Tuesday with a view to getting him fit for the beginning of next season.
Everyone at Norwich City Football Club wishes Diallang all the very best throughout his recovery.
