9 October 2018

Six Norwich City players are in action over the next two weeks, for their respective international sides.

Norwich City defender Max Aarons has received another international call-up after establishing himself in Daniel Farke’s side this season, starting nine games for the Canaries in all competitions.

The 18-year old has been included in the England Under-19 squad after impressing England youth team manager, Keith Downing.

Jamal Lewis has been called up once again to Northern Ireland’s senior side; the full-back has already made three appearances for Michael O’Neill’s side since making his debut against South Korea earlier this year. City goalkeeper Michael McGovern has also been included to represent Northern Ireland.

Lewis and McGovern are part of a Northern Ireland side in the UEFA Nations League who face Austria before coming up against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Wednesday, October 15 at the Stadion Grbavica.

Top scorer Teemu Pukki has been called up for Finland to be part of their UEFA Nations League ties against Estonia and Greece.

Pukki has been impressive in a City shirt since the last international break and was awarded the Falcon Cranes Player of the Month award after finding the net in three consecutive victories during September.

Timm Klose has been included in the Switzerland squad for a second time this season and could add to his 12 caps in their upcoming fixtures.

Switzerland face 2018 World Cup semi-finalists Belgium in the UEFA Nations League on Friday. Klose’s Swiss side will then be given the task of playing Iceland the following Monday.

Adam Idah has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-19s squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. Manager, Tom Mohan has included the 17-year old in his side after the City forward featured in every Norwich Under-23s Premier League 2 fixture since the last international break.
