Norwich City’s Under-18s were beaten 7-0 by Tottenham Hotspur.
City were up against the Under-18 Premier League South leaders at the Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre on Saturday. Tottenham went into the game unbeaten and had scored 28 goals in six games before the Norwich encounter.
The Canaries were put on the back foot straight from kick-off; Harvey White put the hosts 1-0 up after twelve minutes. Spurs experience at this level allowed them to add two more goals before half-time, with Rayan Clarke and Armando Shashoua the goal scorers.
The City side improved in confidence in the second half; however Spurs showed their quality and why they are top of the league.
Dilan Kumar Markanday, Troy Parrott, a second from Clarke and Laurizio Pochettino all added to the scoresheet for Spurs to make it 7-0.
