Under-23s to begin Premier League Cup campaign

4 October 2018

Norwich City Under-23s are in action at Holmes Park on Friday against Leicester City in their first Premier League Cup game of the season (7pm).

City will want to bounce back, after losing out against Manchester United Under-23s last time out.

The Canaries currently sit sixth in the table on ten-points, with the visitors sitting in fourth position in the Premier League 2 Division 1.

Norwich face a Leicester side who are without a win in three Premier League 2 games, losing once and drawing twice.

Last time out, the Foxes lost 2-1 at home against Arsenal with midfielder Callum Wright scoring Leicester’s only goal.

As well as Leicester, Matt Gill's team will face Exeter City and Nottingham Forest in their other games in Group D.
