Norwich City Under-23s return to Premier League 2 action on Monday evening against Stoke City at Harrison Park (7:00pm Kick-off).
Ahead of the game we spoke to left-back Caleb Richards, who talked about City’s promising start to the season and wanting to carry on that form going into their next run of fixtures.
“I think as a team we’ve started very well, we have been unlucky in some games so far as some results haven’t gone for us,” Richards said.
“We are still doing really well in the league so far though, sitting sixth in the league [Premier League 2, Division 2] and hopefully we can get a win next time out [against Stoke City].”
Richards has started in every game for City Under-23s this season, and wants to continue the progress he has made so far.
“On a personal note, I just want to progress in each game I play and take each game as it comes. Starting and playing games really helps with that, so I want to stay in the team and keep playing games and keep improving with every game.”
Under-23s coach Matt Gill will be hoping Norwich return to winning ways after falling short against Manchester United last time out. City have won, drew and lost in their last three fixtures.
Stoke City Under-23s sit just one place behind the Canaries in the table, two points behind and will be going into the game on the back of a 3-2 loss against West Brom.
