Norwich City full-back Max Aarons achieved another impressive personal landmark yesterday in what has been a remarkable two months for the 18-year-old.
After breaking into the Norwich City first-team this season and, as a result, receiving his first England call-up at the end of last month, Aarons made his debut for the Under-19s in the 2-1 victory over Belgium on Monday.
The defender was an unused substitute in their 4-1 win over the Netherlands on Wednesday but Aarons was named in the starting eleven as the Young Lions made it two wins from two international friendlies on Monday.
Goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Stephen Walker, either side of a Belgian equaliser, secured an impressive ten days’ work for the Young Lions who start their U19 European qualifiers in November.
They will be back in action next month when they face a trip to Portugal and a home game with Macedonia, and Aarons will hope to be involved once again.
