James Husband played the full 90 minutes for Fleetwood Town in their 1-1 draw with Sunderland on Saturday.
Fleetwood striker Paddy Madden scored a header in the ninth minute, making it the fifth time this season that Sunderland have gone behind in League One. However a goal from Josh Maja took them level towards the end of the first half.
Fleetwood had a chance to go ahead again soon after the restart after Husband was tripped in the box, but Madden’s penalty was saved by the Sunderland goalkeeper to secure them a point.
In League Two, Tristan Abrahams was an unused substitute for Exeter City as they won 5-1 to Notts County on Saturday.
Earlier in the week, Exeter met Yeovil Town in their first match of this season’s Checkatrade Trophy campaign.
Diallang Jaiyesimi came on in the 65th minute for Yeovil, with Abrahams called up in the 77th minute for Exeter. The game ended goalless but Exeter claimed a bonus point following a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win.
And midfielder Savvas Mourgos played 82 minutes for Dordrecht in their 4-1 defeat to Telstar in the Eerste Divisie.
