Young Norwich City stars Jamal Lewis and Max Aarons have spoken exclusively to matchday programme OTBC about their transition from the Academy to First-Team football.
Lewis, an already established member of Daniel Farke's matchday squad, has been joined by his fellow Academy graduate Aarons in the First-Team XI for recent games.
In an exclusive interview with OTBC, the pair spoke at length about getting used to the demands of training with Daniel Farke's squad, as well as a host of other topics including the recent East Anglian derby where both played 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw at Portman Road.
Aarons said: "I was very nervous but I had played in the Stevenage and Cardiff [cup] games before, so I felt like I was ready for it.
"As a team the game wasn’t the best, but we dug in well and to get a draw away at Portman Road was good, so I was really happy.
Lewis added: "There were a lot of emotions, obviously I was nervous and apprehensive but it's what you dream about when you're young.
"It's a proud moment for us but also for everyone who has been involved in the journey and our families."
