More than 400 guests attended Norwich City’s annual End of Season Dinner, with season highlights, interviews and awards presented throughout the evening.
Held in the Norfolk Lounge on Sunday, the prestigious event gave fans the chance to congratulate the First Team squad, coaching staff and management team on their promotion winning season, all while enjoying a three-course meal produced by Delia’s team of chefs.
Hosted by television presenter Kevin Piper, the evening got under way with highlights from the 2018/19 season, before Delia and Michael were invited on stage to present the Etty Smith Award to Academy striker Adam Idah and the Peter Oldfield Outstanding Contribution Award to Head of Recruitment, Kieran Scott.
After dessert and coffee was served, Christoph Zimmermann then took to the stage to present the Players’ Player of the Season award which went to Teemu Pukki.
The Player of the Season awards, as voted for by Norwich City supporters, were then announced by Sporting Director Stuart Webber, with Emi Buendia in third place, Zimmermann in second and Pukki in first. All three were presented with a bottle of champagne and a trophy, before answering questions on stage.
The final award of the evening – Fan of the Season - was presented to Jacob Bowles by City Head Coach Daniel Farke, along with Ian and Samantha Dack, the husband and daughter of the late Michelle Dack who the award is dedicated to.
