Fans social club to host final event of the season

15 April 2019

The Norwich City Fans Social Club will be hosting their final event of the season on Thursday, April 18 at Carrow Road.

The social evening will be an informal event with the bar open from 7.30pm in the Top of the City lounge for anyone who wants to enjoy a drink and a natter with fellow City fans, with Club sponsors, previous speakers, hosts, helpers and legends also invited along.

Giant Jenga will be making an appearance again, as will Play Your Cards Right with car rally TeamUPukki. And Jacob Bowles will be bringing his On The Stall City stand from Norwich Market to the stadium for fans to pick up some Canary memorabilia.

The social club’s most recent event was standing-room-only as Norwich Head Coach Daniel Farke took part in a question and answer session, rounding things off from the group’s August forum at the start of the season when Stuart Webber was the guest speaker.

In between, the volunteer-run group organised another successful charity quiz with the Community Sports Foundation, brought out the inner James Bond with a casino night and hosted a Pride of Anglia comedy panel quiz with Grant Holt and Terry Butcher among the contestants.

Those attending the evening will also find out how much the social club will be donating to the Community Sports Foundation from this season’s activities.

Entrance to the Top of the City is through the South Stand reception and admission is free.
