Norwich City’s Under-18s come up against Southampton in their final game of the season at Colney Training Centre on Saturday (12pm).
The Canaries go into the game on the back of a 3-1 loss against Leicester City at the Foxes training ground two weeks ago, with the Saints also coming into the game after 3-1 defeat against Aston Villa.
Last time the Canaries played Leicester took the lead early in the second half before Tom Dickson-Peters equalised for Norwich minutes later after powering home from the edge of the area. The young City side which featured many Under-16s players were unable to hold on against the Foxes with the home side scoring two further goals to get the three points.
Last time out against Southampton the Saints proved too strong for Norwich as they eased to a 4-0 victory scoring two goals in each half. Isak Thorvaldsson netted City’s only goal that day, with the forward now a regular part of the Under-23s squad.
City will be hoping to bounce back from defeat and put in another positive performance against Southampton who are placed fourth in the Under-18s Premier League table.
