Norwich City will make a late decision on Tom Trybull ahead of Good Friday’s clash against Sheffield Wednesday (7.45pm).
Trybull has been a regular in the City side since the Canaries played Birmingham at Carrow Road back in January, when he scored in a 3-1 victory against the Blues. He has started every game since but is a doubt for Friday’s encounter with the Owls.
“It’s not too bad in general, Tom Trybull got a slight knock against his knee, I would say there is a little question mark whether he will be available or not, because he has had some problems during the week.
“At least today he was out with us on the training pitches and was able to handle the load, it doesn't look too bad but we will make the final decsion tomorrow.”
The City boss confirmed that Jordan Rhodes will be unavailable for selection for Good Friday’s fixture due to Sheffield Wednesday being his parent club.
Farke was questioned about the homegrown rule with Rhodes unavailable, and was asked whether players such as Carlton Morris and Louis Thompson could return to the City squad.
“To be honest, it's perhaps a bit too early for Carlton [Morris], but Louis [Thompson] is a good option, we have other good options as well, I think Aston Oxborough has been in the squad earlier in the season, and even some of the younger players.”
