Teemu Pukki has been crowned the Falcon Cranes Player of the Season for the 2018-19 campaign.
Pukki edged out Christoph Zimmermann and Emi Buendia who came second and third respectively.
The 29-year-old was handed the Barry Butler Memorial Trophy by joint majority shareholder's Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones ahead of City’s final home game of the season against Blackburn Rovers.
He follows in the footsteps of a host of City heroes like Kevin Drinkell, Martin Peters, Bryan Gunn, Iwan Roberts, Grant Holt, Wes Hoolahan, and James Maddison who won the award last season.
The Finnish international joined City on a free transfer from Brondby in the summer and immediately hit the ground running, scoring in his opening outing at Carrow Road in August against West Bromwich Albion.
He’s gone on to score 29 goals in all competitions with 28 of them in the Sky Bet Championship making him the top scorer in the division.
As well as being named the Canaries’ best player, Pukki has also been named in the PFA and Sky Bet Championship Teams of the Season, as well as winning the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year award two weeks ago.
