Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul believes there is "nothing better" than a packed Carrow Road cheering the Canaries on.
The home faithful have been treated to plenty of entertainment, free-flowing attacking football and victories this season and Krul says the support from the fans has been crucial in helping the team achieve what they have.
And the City stopper does not want the support to end: "It’s incredible how much it has improved from the first game to now and you can see so many people want to get behind the team now.
"There is nothing better than having the whole stadium rooting for one thing and that’s a win. I think we have given them a lot of joy and a lot of entertainment this season. We need to just get over the line now and the last six games.
"They need to understand that at this time of the season, a 1-0 clean sheet and three points is more important than anything. I think there will be a great atmosphere and we are really excited."
City have recorded eight victories in a row, the latest of those being a 4-0 triumph over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
That result was much more comfortable than the previous two, with City digging in and grinding out equally as important wins at Rotherham United and Middlesbrough.
And Krul thinks those results outline City's ability to maintain their performance levels right until the final whistle.
"On paper those are banana skin fixtures, so to come away with six points [from Rotherham and Boro] is huge," he continued.
"To win ten out of eleven just shows what run we have been on and I think the confidence in the team is massive.
"The biggest thing is that we keep going until the end. You see teams who drop off after 70 minutes and we literally go into another gear. It’s just amazing to have that fitness and again that is testament to the staff because we train hard to get those levels there."
City host Reading on Wednesday night, knowing that three points will further strengthen their place at the summit of the Sky Bet Championship.
Krul thinks the Royals will be aware of the scale of the task facing them at Carrow Road, but he's urged the Canaries to make sure they're at their best.
"I think coming to Carrow Road they know they have a big task, but we just need to look at ourselves.
"If we hit our targets we will beat them, but we really need to be on top of our game and can’t take it for granted."
