Norwich City’s Under-23s return to Carrow Road on Friday night against Middlesbrough for their last home game of the season (7pm).
Carlton Morris and Pierre Fonkeu were among the names who returned last time out against Southampton after lengthy injury spells have seen them miss the majority of the season.
The last time the Under-23s played at Carrow Road was all the way back in December, when City drew 2-2 against German side Wolfsburg in the Premier League International Cup. Nelson Oliveira and Ant Spyrou scored for the Canaries that day, but neither will feature this time around with both of them out on loan.
In the reverse fixture between City and Boro, the Canaries suffered a narrow defeat at Heritage Park with Devonte Aransibia scoring City’s only goal in a 2-1 loss.
Boro are currently without a win in 2019 and are eighth in the Premier League 2 Division 2 table.
One of their stand out players this season has been 16-year-old Nathan Wood, who in August became Middlesbrough’s youngest ever player to make a professional appreance for the club, coming on for ex-Canary Daniel Ayala in the EFL Cup.
Tickets will be available from the ticket office at Carrow Road until 7pm on the night, as well as online at canaries.co.uk. To claim your tickets, click HERE.
