Norwich City have been awarded the LG Performance of the Week by the League Managers Association after their 3-1 win over Newcastle United last Saturday.
The LMA panel, comprising of chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Chris Hughton, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, determined that the award should go to the Canaries after their first victory of the season at Carrow Road.
The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,500 competitive matches in professional football.
Head Coach Daniel Farke received the trophy in a presentation at the Lotus Training Centre on Friday afternoon.
He said: "It was a rounded performance against Newcastle. We take the award for the whole team so thanks a lot.
"To have the first win under your belt is very important. It was our first home game in the premier League after a few years and to do it with such a performance, we were briliant defensively and offensively. It was a greay day for the Club."
