Daniel Farke was pleased overall with Norwich City's 1-0 victory over Toulouse in their final pre-season friendly.
City dominated for large spells at Carrow Road against their Ligue 1 opponents and Farke was delighted with their display.
"It was a good performance, without any doubt. It was quite important for me that we ended today pretty confidently and greedy to get a good result.
"In pre-season, it's not so much about the results and a bit more about the performances but from now, the results get a bit more important."
The result should have perhaps been a little rosier with the Canaries creating a host of opportunities in the second-half but Farke wasn't too concerned.
"It is [a little frustrating]. It should have been a tennis result. I think 6-0 would have been a better reflection of this game.
"But if I'm honest, I'm pretty pleased that we reacted in a really, really good way in terms of our defending. We allowed perhaps one half chance in either half but in these moments, the goalkeepers were switched on.
"When you miss so many chances like we did today, of course we have to speak a little bit about that, but you have to make sure that you play concentrated with your defending until the last second.
"I'm pretty sure the goals will come."
Farke was also pleased with the clean sheet his team kept: "It's difficult during pre-season to play a game with a clean sheet. Sometimes you have many changes during a game and switches of formation.
"It's quite important when you get close to the normal stuff that we are also concetrated in our defending behaviour."
