Norwich City Football Club can confirm that a home supporter was arrested and has been subsequently banned from attending games at Carrow Road following an incident during the weekend’s Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur.
The supporter was identified and later arrested after throwing a dangerous object on to the field of play during the first half of the game.
The incident is being investigated by Norfolk Police, whilst the club have immediately banned the supporter from attending games at Carrow Road for a three-year period.
Norwich City continues to operate a strict zero-tolerance policy on unacceptable and discriminatory behaviour. If supporters experience any form of discrimination or unacceptable behaviour at Carrow Road, reports can be submitted anonymously via the club’s dedicated reporting number, 07931235513.
