New digital CCTV cameras installed at Carrow Road

8 February 2019

Norwich City are pleased to have teamed up with Check Your Security Ltd who have installed the latest digital Panomera CCTV cameras inside Carrow Road, along with supplying the Club’s safety stewards with interactive body worn cameras with live audio, video and GPS location to the stadium control room.

Check Your Security’s integrated solution, which fully complies with strict FA regulations, has been designed to help monitor and manage crowd activity - both in the stands and throughout the exterior of the stadium, increasing the efficiency of the Club’s crowd management.

The exceptional usability and image clarity means persons can be readily recognised or identified with the use of mobile patrol body worn cameras, which will be in full use across Carrow Road.

Norwich City Chief Operating Officer Ben Kensell said: “The safety of all supporters visiting Carrow Road is of paramount importance to us here at Norwich City and we’re really pleased to have enhanced our security services with the help of Check Your Security Ltd.”

Andy Batley, Norwich City Safety, Security and Counter Terrorism Manager, said: “This new equipment and system has given great support to our safety and security team here at Carrow Road to help provide a safe matchday environment to our supporters.”

Check Your Security Ltd Commercial Director Clinton Button added: “We are delighted to work with Norwich City Football Club, and it was a pleasure to deliver a high-profile project together. As a supporter I know how important it is to be in a safe environment.”
