Emi Buendia said he is excited to play his first Carrow Road derby match after getting a taste of the rivalry between the Clubs in his first league start for City back in September.
The Norwich midfielder has been a regular fixture in Daniel Farke’s starting eleven since that game at Portman Road, when City came away with a 1-1 draw.
And Buendia said he knows the importance of the match for both the players and fans.
“My teammates have told me it’s a big, big game, maybe the best game in the season, and I am really excited to play.
“In the table there is a big difference between the teams but on the pitch it’s totally different and it will be a difficult game. The team is very focussed on getting three points.
“We don’t feel pressure, we want to enjoy the game and I am excited."
Buendia moved to Norwich from Spanish side Getafe last summer and has settled into life as a Canary well, with three goals and five assists already under his belt.
He said: “I am very happy to be part of the team and my teammates are all really good people. We have some really good quality players and technical players I’m really happy with how things are going.
"I feel good on the pitch. The team has been getting some good results, we are at the top of the table and it’s really good for us. I am really happy to be playing a lot of games.
“The support at Carrow Road is really good at every game. There is a big atmosphere and the fans are always supportive, it’s really, really good."
