Meet the opposition
Swansea City currently sit just below the middle of the Championship table placed at 14th with 47 points.
This is manager Graham Potter’s first season in charge having taken on the role in June 2018, tasked with getting the Swans back to the Premier League following relegation from the top-flight last season.
It is the first time Swansea have played in the Championship since the 2010-11 season when the Welsh side were promoted via the play-offs.
The Swans have won two of their last five games, the most recent at home to Bolton last Saturday and prior to that at home against Millwall on February 9 when George Byers got the only goal of the game. Other results saw them suffer a 3-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, a 2-1 defeat to Leeds and a 2-0 defeat Bristol City.
Young striker Oliver McBurnie is Swansea’s top goal scorer so far this season, with 18 goals under his belt and four assists.
Last time the two sides met was at the Liberty Stadium on November 24 when Norwich took all three points with a 4-1 win. The Canaries took the lead with an own goal from Mike van der Hoorn, with further goals from Emi Buendia and Marco Stiepermann to make it 3-0. The Swans got one back just before half time with Daniel James tapping home a rebound shot. However Teemu Pukki added his name to the scoreboard in the 60th minute to secure the win for City.
