Norwich City’s Disabled Supporters Association held an event at Carrow Road ahead of Wednesday night's game in support of the 2019 Level Playing Field (LPF) Weeks of Action.
The annual initiative is now in its 14th year and aims to celebrate access and inclusion for disabled sports fans across England and Wales.
Disabled fans and their families and friends were invited to attend the event in the Aviva Galley where the association organised a question and answer session before City's game against Hull. They were joined by representatives from Level Playing Field and volunteers from Aviva's Matchday Buddies.
Disabled people constitute the largest minority group at around 15% of the population and this number is increasing year on year. Naturally, a large number of disabled people are football fans too and the Club was pleased to use this opportunity to thank its disabled fans for their continued loyalty and dedication to the Canaries.
