Norwich City full-back Max Aarons has been nominated for the EA Sports EFL Young Player of the Season award.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a groundbreaking first season in senior football, having only moved up from under-23s level to train with the first-team over the summer.
Since making his first league start for the Canaries in the 1-1 East Anglian derby draw at Ipswich Town on September 2, Aarons has started every one of City's last 35 league matches.
He's also contributed with a couple of goals, scoring in the home victory over Rotherham on December 1 and then the away draw at Bristol City two weeks later.
Aarons faces competition for the award from Harry Wilson (Derby County) and James Justin (Luton Town).
As sponsor of the award, EA Sports will be hosting an online vote, which goes live on Wednesday 27 March, equating to 25% of the overall result, with the other 75% made up of votes from the EFL Awards judging panel.
The winner will be announced on the evening of the awards night, taking place on Sunday 7 April at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London.
