Norwich City are delighted to announce the Club is offering half-price tickets at just £7.50 for adults, £2.50 for Under-18s and coach travel at £20 for Canary fans who want to get behind the team at our vital forthcoming Sky Bet Championship clash at Wigan Athletic.
The Canaries have taken the full allocation of 5,000 tickets for the game at the DW Stadium which kicks off at noon on Sunday, April 14, and had already negotiated with Wigan a reduced price of £15 for adults.
But as a heartfelt thank you from everybody at Norwich City to our away supporters for their fantastic backing this season, the Club is subsidising all tickets even further and offering reduced coach travel.
With City enjoying average away crowds of 1,658 during their exciting Championship campaign to date, the subsidised trip to Wigan is the Club’s way of offering a meaningful gesture of the Club’s gratitude to as many of those loyal fans as possible.
It replaces the away supporters party held at the end of previous seasons, when safety and licensing restrictions limit the number of fans who can attend to no more than 350-400.
City’s Chief Operating Officer Ben Kensell commented: “Our away support over the years has always been brilliant and a real source of pride for everyone connected with Norwich City. They are always there at away grounds up and down the country getting behind the team, rain or shine, and when you consider the long travelling distances involved for many of these matches, their loyalty and dedication is outstanding.
“We wanted to do something to thank as many of our away followers as possible this year and we’re delighted to be offering significant reductions on both ticket prices and coach travel for the match at Wigan.
“We hope as many supporters as possible are able to take advantage of this great deal - and what a boost it will be for Daniel and the team to have another huge contingent of the Yellow Army behind them for another crucial game.”
The reduced-price tickets for the match against Wigan will be available to purchase under the away points allocation scheme in the first instance from Tuesday, March 19, with any remaining tickets going on general sale from Tuesday, March 26 – see full details of purchasing dates below.
