Norwich City midfielder Louis Thompson returned back to team training this week, but will remain unavailable for selection for Friday’s game against Swansea City (7.45pm kick-off).
Thompson picked up an injury in January, when the 24-year-old featured for City’s Under-23s in a 2-2 draw against Tottenham where he played for 60 minutes.
Daniel Farke said: “It was good news for Louis Thompson, because he was able to return to team training this week.
“We have this week, next week and then the international break. It will take a bit of time for him but we hope he is a topic for after the international break.”
In other news, Ivo Pinto and Todd Cantwell who were missing for last weekend’s game against Millwall are both back and available for this Friday’s match against the Swans.
“Its good news in general, Ivo Pinto was able to train the whole week, so he is available. It’s the same with Todd Cantwell he is able to return to team training.
“He started the week off a bit slow, but he is available for tomorrow. We don’t have to force anything, but he was able to train today.”
The City boss shared positive news on the rest of the City squad saying that there are no knew injuries following last week’s victory. “Everyone’s available and ready to go, so we are in a good personal situation,” said Farke.
