Louis Thompson has been included in a training camp by the Welsh national team, ahead of their UEFA European Championship qualifiers in June.
Thompson made eight appearances in all competitions this season following a number of injury setbacks. He missed the whole of the 2017-18 campaign with an Achilles injury.
However, after returning to full fitness at the end of the season, Thompson has been given the chance to train with Ryan Giggs' Wales team as part of a summer training camp in the Algarve.
If Thompson impresses, he could be included in the squad for Wales' two UEFA European Championship qualifiers against Croatia and Hungary in June.
A call-up would be Thompson's first for Wales since 2013 when he was named in the Welsh U21s squad for a qualifier with Moldova.
