Mario Vrancic has seen his impressive end to the Sky Bet Championship season rewarded with a recall to the Bosnia and Herzegovina squad for the upcoming UEFA European Championship qualifiers.
Vrancic last played Bosnia back in March 2017 when he was playing for former club SV Darmstadt. He came on as a substitute in their 5-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Gibraltar.
During the summer after that campaign, Vrancic moved to the Canaries and has since made 77 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals.
The 29-year-old was in scintillating form during the business end of this season, netting the decisive goals in wins over Blackburn, when City won promotion, and Aston Villa, when they won the Championship title.
Vrancic faces two European qualifiers with Bosnia, starting with a trip to Finland on Saturday, June 8 (5pm kick-off) where he could bump into City teammate Teemu Pukki.
Their summer qualifiers end with a trip to Turin to face Italy on Tuesday, June 11 with kick-off at 7.45pm.
