Adam Idah has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award after a magnificent campaign with City’s Under-23s.
The 18-year-old striker scored 12 goals in 19 games including a hat-trick back in August in City’s 4-0 thrashing of West Brom.
Idah ended the season directly contributing to nine goals in his last nine PL2 games, with his goal against Manchester United proving to be the catalyst for City to come back and beat the Red Devils 2-1 in March.
The City striker faces competition from Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal), Aaron Connolly (Brighton and Hove Albion), Bassala Sambou (Everton), Morgan Feeney (Everton), Rafael Camacho (Liverpool), Ellias Sorensen (Newcastle United), Adam Idah (Norwich City), Daniel Loader (Reading) and Will Smallbone (Southampton).
The winner will be announced on Thursday, May 16, at the Premier League Youth Development Conference due to be hosted by Fulham.
