Simon Power and Adam Idah named in Republic of Ireland U21s Toulon Tournament squad

Norwich City Under-23s pair Simon Power and Adam Idah have been included in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad for the upcoming Toulon Tournament.

The duo were included in the U21s squad for the first time in March, but Power was forced to withdraw after picking up an injury in training.

Idah seized his chance though, netting a double on debut in a 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying win over Luxembourg.

The Toulon Tournament, which begins on Monday, June 3, will see Ireland face Bahrain, China and Mexico in Group C in Provence, France. It will be the first time since 2002 that Ireland have competed in the tournament.
