Jamal Lewis and Michael McGovern have been awarded international call-ups and could represent Northern Ireland in the upcoming international break.
Lewis has featured heavily in City’s Premier League run so far this season, playing in every one of the eleven games, missing out on just 24 minutes of league action.
Meanwhile, shotstopper McGovern has featured twice for the Canaries, starting against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace earlier this season.
Both men could feature for Northern Ireland in their UEFA EURO 2020 qualifiers against the Netherlands on Saturday, 16 November (7:45pm kick-off) and Germany on Tuesday, 19 November (7:45pm kick-off).
Northern Ireland currently sit 3rd in Group C of the qualifiers with 12 points, just three points behind the Netherlands and Germany, leaving qualification still up for grabs. Belarus and Estonia are too far behind to catch-up to the point deficit, whittling it down to just three teams fighting for places in the tournament.
Lewis has made eleven appearances for Northern Ireland, helping the team wherever he can from his left-back position. Meanwhile, McGovern has made 30 appearances for the national side, keeping nine clean sheets in his time as their ‘keeper, as well as previously featuring in World Cup qualifiers and EURO 2016.
