Norwich City can confirm that a period of silence in memory of Duncan Forbes will take place ahead of the club’s upcoming Premier League game against Manchester United at Carrow Road.
City legend Forbes passed away on Wednesday evening following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.
Both sides will also wear black armbands as a mark of respect, whilst Forbes will also appear on the front cover of a special tribute edition of the club’s matchday programme, OTBC.
Supporters are asked to make their way into the ground well in advance of the 4.30pm kick off in order to allow enough time to find their seats and pay their respects.
Flags located on the Geoffrey Watling City Stand at Carrow Road have been lowered to half-mast, whilst players and staff at the Lotus Training Centre paid their respects with a period of silence prior to Friday morning’s training session.
There will also be a period of silence ahead of the club’s Under-23 game against West Ham United at the Lotus Training Centre on Friday evening. The two sides will wear black armbands.
