A number of absentees from recent Norwich City action will return to Daniel Farke’s squad for their trip to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.
Tim Krul, Alex Tettey, Tom Trybull and Onel Hernandez have all recovered from their injury issues and will travel to the south coast.
However, the City Head Coach revealed that Trybull and Hernandez are not quite ready for a starting berth.
Farke added he’s been particularly impressed with Hernandez’s data in training, saying “his endurance is looking good”.
The City Head Coach also revealed Mario Vrancic is back in team training but it will take a while for the Bosnian midfielder to be ready for action, with Farke citing another 2-3 weeks before a return to the pitch.
Meanwhile, Kenny McLean, Todd Cantwell and Jamal Lewis were all forced to withdraw from international duty but Farke says that all three are fine to play on Saturday.
Two players underwent surgery over the break – Ben Godfrey had an operation on a hernia problem but Farke was pleased to confirm the England U21 centre-back will travel to Bournemouth.
However, there was no such good news for Grant Hanley. The Scot had groin surgery a few days ago and will miss the next 7-8 weeks of action.
Elsewhere, Sam Byram is available for selection after recovering from an ankle injury but Ralf Fährmann will miss the trip.
