Teemu Pukki scored the only goal of the match as Finland continued their impressive 2020 UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory over Greece in Tampere.
A close first-half ended goalless but Finland were awarded a penalty on 52 minutes and Pukki stepped up to coolly slot the ball into the bottom left corner, sending goalkeeper Vasilios Barkas the wrong way.
Norwich City's top scorer, who made his 50th appearance for the Club on Saturday against West Ham, was substituted on 85 minutes but Finland managed to hold on and solidify their place in second spot in Group J.
Elsewhere, Northern Ireland edged out Luxembourg 1-0 in a friendly at Windsor Park, with Michael McGovern coming on as a 67th minute substitute.
Jamal Lewis was left on the bench for the encounter, with manager Michael O'Neill clearly having one eye on their qualifier against Germany on Monday night.
Meanwhile, City youngster Dan Adshead netted the first of three goals for England Under-19s as they came from behind to beat Greece in a friendly at St. George's Park.
Adshead stabbed home from close range on 28 minutes to equalise, after Vrakas Georgios had given the visitors the lead.
Goals in the second-half from Leeds United's Ryan Edmondson and Thomas Doyle of Manchester City helped the Young Lions to a well-earned victory.
Earlier in the day, Scotland's Under-19s were in friendly action in Spain as they took on Japan.
Aidan Fitzpatrick played the opening 60 minutes of the 1-1 draw, with Archie Mair having a watching brief from the sidelines.
Kyle Joseph's second-half leveller cancelled out Shingo Omori's opener on 16 minutes.
