Max Aarons and Ben Godfrey made their Three Lions debuts for England Under-21s in their 3-2 win over Turkey U21s on Friday evening.
England took the lead through Eddie Nketiah's early strike, before Turkey went ahead thanks to goals from Dogukan Sinik and Mert Muldur. However, goals from Nketiah in the 74th minute and Reiss Nelson in the 75th were enough to give the Three Lions a 3-2 victory.
Kenny McLean played the final half-hour of Scotland's 2-1 defeat at home to Russia. Scotland opened the scoring through Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn, but the visitors came back from 1-0 down to salvage a valuable three points in Group I of the UEFA Euro Qualification stage.
Elsewhere, Adam Idah played the opening 65 minutes of Republic of Ireland Under-21s' 1-0 win over Aremnia, while Rocky Bushiri was on the bench for Belgium Under-21s 1-0 defeat to Wales in the Under-21s UEFA Euro qualifiers.
