Daniel Farke says the spirit in the Norwich City camp is good heading into the new season which starts next week.
The Canaries finalised their preparations for the new season with a double-header against SV Darmstadt on Saturday in Germany.
They won the first 3-2, thanks to goals from Przemyslaw Placheta, Teemu Pukki and Josh Martin, and drew the second 0-0.
Farke has been delighted with his team's efforts over the course of the pre-season.
"I have to say I’m quite delighted that we are unbeaten after pre-season and with four clean sheets and many goals," he said to canaries.co.uk.
"I know the results aren’t that important and the real stuff starts next week. But I get the feeling our fitness levels are top. The lads have worked quite well and adapted to each other quite well.
"The spirit is good and for this day today, I have many compliments."
Reflecting on the Darmstadt double-header, Farke said he was pleased with the test they provided his team.
"It was a long day. Of course, we would have preferred to finish pre-season with five games, five wins, five clean sheets but now the final outcome is four wins, one draw and just fourth clean sheets.
"But overall, I have to say I have compliments to my lads for today. They’ve been together for 12 days without any day off and to face a really strong side, they’ve been on the Bundesliga level for a few years, and to be that dominant in the first game. We should have won it much clearer than 3-2.
"It felt a bit like a 4-0, 5-0. The second game, we were unbelievably solid and finished this game with a clean sheet. On 87 minutes, they just had one chance and Daniel Barden was there with a good save.
"We tried to win this game and missed lots of chances, but overall the only thing that was missing in the second game was a goal."
