City knocked out of PS4 #ePremierLeague by Wolves

13 August 2020

Norwich City were knocked out of the PS4's #ePremierLeague tournament by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday.

Michael Fisher, representing the Canaries on FIFA 20 after coming through the play-offs at Carrow Road in February, began the finals with an opening round fixture in the winner's bracket against Arsenal.

Fisher held Arsenal's LeBrantula to a 3-3 draw in the first leg, but the Gunners' gamer took a 2-0 win in the return fixture to advance.

Fisher was then placed into the loser's bracket to face Wolves' RGriff1, who had been beaten by Southampton 4-1 on aggregate. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw between Norwich and Wolves, before the latter claimed a 2-1 win in the second leg to end Fisher's journey.

We're set to do it all again tomorrow, as Harry Hunt prepares to represent the Canaries on Xbox One in the #ePL finals, his games scheduled to be broadcasted on our Twitch channel from 1pm BST.
