Norwich City is proud to announce that Lotus Cars has expanded its current partnership with the club, which will see the famous Lotus logo featuring on the front of all retail junior and youth kits for multiple years, beginning with the stunning 2020-21 home kit.
The expansion builds upon the current partnership that saw the club’s training facility renamed the ‘Lotus Training Centre’, and the new academy building renamed ‘The Lotus Academy’.
Lotus branding will continue to feature on the first-team ‘walk-out’ jackets, on all academy shirts from the under-23s squad through to the Under-9s, and on pitch-side branding at Carrow Road.
As part of the new agreement, the dugouts and team benches will also feature Lotus branding.
Lotus has had a long history in Norwich since moving to the company’s iconic Hethel HQ in 1966, currently employing over 1,400 people in the region, with more to come following the recent announcement of a new facility in Norwich.
It has been a busy time for Lotus, with the announcement of the first all-electric British hypercar – Evija, the development of a new Olympic track bike for the Team GB Olympic team, as well as helping provide supplies and develop technology to help the fight against COVID-19.
Chief Operating Officer at the club, Ben Kensell, said: “With such a deep history with both the club and the region, we’re delighted to further strengthen our relationship with the wonderful team at Lotus.
“Since the announcement of the partnership last summer it’s been brilliant to see the Norwich City and Lotus partnership continue to flourish.”
Lotus Cars’ Executive Director, Global Marketing, Simon Clare, added: “This is a partnership of two iconic Norfolk brands on the global stage together. We share more than just a home city – our values of commitment, passion, focus, hard work and a winning mindset are also in common.
"As we expand our partnership to include the grassroots ranks of the Club we demonstrate our commitment to developing not only our relationship, but also talent for the future.”
