Dynamo Dresden will be Norwich City’s third opponent in pre-season when the two sides meet at a neutral venue on 3pm BST this Wednesday.
City have made it two wins from two in pre-season so far with a 6-0 victory against MK Dons and a 3-0 win over SC Verl, with plenty of new signings getting minutes under their belts.
Dresden will spend the 2020-21 season in the third tier of German football, having been relegated from 2. Bundesliga in 2019-20.
Their last two friendly results have been less favourable as they failed to score in 2-0 and 1-0 defeats to Union Berlin and Eintracht Braunschweig respectively.
Dresden have spent the last twelve years fluctuating between the third and second tiers, their most recent stay in 2. Bundesliga lasting four seasons and boasting a fifth-placed finish in 2016-17.
Last season, they fell five points short of survival, though Moussa Kone was the danger man, becoming the club’s top scorer for the second season running.
The club will have to make do without his services next season, after Kone was snapped up by Ligue 1 side Nimes Olympique in January.
