Norwich City defender Sam Byram is set to miss the opening period of the coming 2020-21 campaign.
The full-back has been sidelined since February, after undergoing surgery following a hamstring injury sustained in the 1-0 defeat against Liverpool at Carrow Road.
But after initially making positive progress in his rehabilitation, further surgery has now been required to debride a cyst, which had developed around the bone anchor used to repair the injury.
Byram was now continue his rehabilitation at the Lotus Training Centre over the coming period.
