Norwich City Academy scholars were given first-hand mentoring from the Canaries’ very own academy graduates Josh Martin, Adam Idah and Max Aarons.
In total, six first-year scholars were given the chance to put their questions to the first-team stars, including: Joe Duffy, Sol Alidor-Hamilton, Oscar Thorn, Brad Hills, Ola Okeowo and Harry Brooke.
Split into pairs with a first-team star each, the young Canaries, who are just beginning their journey in the Academy’s scholarship programme, sat with the players for over an hour, asking questions on their experiences developing with City.
Armed with pre-prepared questions for the senior players, the scholars took full advantage of hearing from Daniel Farke’s squad members, getting all they wanted to know to put into practice in their own development.
This sit-down wasn’t the first time the Academy have seen first-team players devote time in mentoring and guiding the players, with captain Grant Hanley and ex-Canary Jamal Lewis both providing a similar session over video conference earlier in the year.
