With six Gameweeks in the final month of 2019, there were plenty of points to be won for Fantasy Premier League managers in our Official Canaries FPL league.
At the end of December, it was Kasa Bika who came out on top with a total 431 from Gameweeks 15-20. Congratulations, Kasa! Keep an eye on your e-mail inbox for details on how to claim your prize.
The month got off to a terrific start when Kasa triple captained Sadio Mane for his goal and two assists in the Merseyside Derby at Anfield, the Senegalese international earning him 45 points out of his total of 80. GW16 wasn’t bad either, as Mohamed Salah against AFC Bournemouth and Son Heung-Min versus Burnley played their part in a 71-point haul.
GW17 was the most productive spell for Kasa, however, as double figures from Salah, John Lundstram and Raheem Sterling helped rack up 91 points. The following Gameweeks weren’t quite as spectacular, but Todd Cantwell, Danny Ings, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kevin De Bruyne all ensured Kasa kept his place at the top.
For the Canaries, there were a number of players to earn FPL managers points in December. Cantwell’s goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers contributed to a ten-point haul, while Alexander Tettey got 14 across two games thanks to his assist at Southampton and goal at home to Sheffield United.
Teemu Pukki also got on the score sheet at Southampton and Leicester City, earning him eight and nine points respectively. Emiliano Buendia got assists versus Leicester and Tottenham Hotspur, netting him 11 points across those two games. In the latter, Mario Vrancic also got seven points for his first-half goal.
