Norwich City will be without Teemu Pukki for their Emirates FA Cup third round tie at Preston North End on Saturday.
Pukki was substituted with a slight hamstring strain in the draw with Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day and has been forced out of the trip to Deepdale.
Head coach Daniel Farke also admitted the Finn is a doubt for the trip to Manchester United in the Premier League next weekend.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Farke said: “Teemu Pukki is out for tomorrow, he has a little hamstring strain. He’s struggling with his toe as well. I can’t predict whether he’s available for the Manchester United game.”
The City boss also confirmed that Josip Drmic (hamstring) and Dennis Srbeny (back) will miss the game, meaning it’s almost certain that youngster Adam Idah will lead the line on Saturday.
Farke also confirmed Ralf Fährmann remains sidelined but a return to team training could occur next week.
Rocky Bushiri and Louis Thompson, who returned from loan spells last week, are unavailable for the trip.
