Norwich City are proud to be supporting #VirtualNorwichPride this weekend.
Traditionally, Norwich Pride sees a number of events take place in the city - a celebration from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT+) community but in light of coronavirus restrictions, this year’s celebrations will be online.
The day will start with a welcome address from the Lord Mayor followed by a number of activities for people to get involved in, including: a live Zumba workout, Pride Question Time debate and a Virtual March and Pride Show.
Jo Caulfield, chair of Norwich Pride said: “Norwich Pride is run entirely by volunteers and I want to thank everyone who has contributed their time and energy this year.
“Moving our event online has not been without challenges, and I am so proud of the team for pulling together and making Virtual Norwich Pride 2020 happen.
“The rainbow flag is a symbol of our community, and we’d love to see it on every street in Norwich to celebrate and support your LGBT+ family and friends.”
