Daniel Farke: We are capable of a result at Arsenal

1 July 2020

Daniel Farke says Norwich City's performance against Manchester United on Saturdays show they are capable to compete against any team they face.

The Canaries ran the Red Devils close in the FA Cup quarter-final but were knocked out despite a valiant display across 120 minutes.

Farke wants his team to show the same performance levels, spirit and endeavour in their final seven Premier League fixtures, starting with Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said: "It would be extraordinary if we avoid relegation, but after you draw against United in 90 minutes with a good performance, it shows you're capable against every team.

"We have to be good in many details and develop our performances step by step. I was pleased that we came back to equalise against United.

"We have to work on our efficiency, to be more clinical and use our chances more, but also to go on with the same defensive solidity we've had in the last two games.

"A surprising win can get us back in the mix."
