New Norwich City signing Przemysław Płacheta says that he and his team-mates will form a youthful squad of hungry players to fight in the Championship next season.
Placheta, 22 years of age, joined the club on Wednesday and spoke to canaries.co.uk to discuss the move from Polish club Slask Wroclaw.
“I’m excited to sign with Norwich City,” he said. “This is the next step of my career and I’m happy to be here, so I will give my best for the team.
“The last few days for me were exhausting but I’m here and I’m happy.
“I spoke with the Sporting Director and he told me all the things about this club. For sure, I was certain that I would make the move to Norwich City.
“I saw that this is a team of young players, which is nice because we can be hungry for every game. We will try to do our best.
“I’m looking forward to playing in the Championship. I will do my best in training to fight for the team.”
Placheta went into more detail about the type of player he is and how he could fit into Daniel Farke’s plan at Norwich City.
“I’m an offensive player who can play on both wings,” he explained. “I like to run in behind the opponents and will try to do my best with the ball.
“One player I like to watch is Raheem Sterling, because he likes the space behind opponents like I do. He scores many goals.
“I want to play as much as possible in front of the fans. I think we will try to do our best in every game, fighting to win.”
